MKO ABIOLA AND JUNE 12th—Bayo Manmountain Egbayelo

Yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari announced a posthumous honours for MKO our man and Gani Fawehinmi our defender. 

This is gracious and commendable. 

Thank you Mr President.

I agree that no matter the high speed with which falsehood moves, truth shall eventually overtake it. 

Truth is light while falsehood is darkness and darkness can never comprehend light. 

Darkness can't prevail over light! Major General Muhammadu Buhari was among the northern Generals who threatened to kill IBB if he should hand over power to MKO. 


Many Nigerians don't know that we have some Mafias that dictate the political movement of the country. Even in the days of military governments, the Mafias were at work. 

The Onitsha Mafias, the Lagtang Mafias, the Ikenne Mafias and the Kaduna Mafias. 

Buhari is one of the Kaduna Mafias. 

The Kaduna Mafias and the Lagtang Mafias killed June 12! 

But here we are today! I don't know how the spirits of Alfred Rewane, Alhaja Suliat Adedeji, Kudirat Abiola, MKO, Gani and other martyrs of June 12 would be moving now on hearing the vindication of what they died for! Will their souls be yearning for vengeances or restitutions? It's good to confess and restitute. 

I agree that this is a confession from President Buhari being one of the killers of June 12. 

He should go further to restitute for the deaths of the assassinated heroes of the June 12. 

He should revealed the circumstances that led to the death of MKO Abiola a month after the death of Abacha.


Major Al Mustapha the CSO to Abacha is still alive to tell us what led to the death of MKO Abiola a month after the death of Abacha! Gen. Abdusalam Abubakar, Prof. Humphrey Nwosu, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, Col. Umar, Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, even Alhaji Babagana Kingibe and others are still alive to tell us what led to the annulment of June 12. 

We need to know the truth to be appeased. 

The truth shall pacify us and make us believe that this gesture has genuine intention but not for the purpose of political score cards. 

Then the specifics reasons for the emergence of June 12 should be addressed. 

The reasons for June 12 include true federalism through a well defined political relationship among the structures that configure Nigeria. 

The structures that built up Nigeria are the conglomerations of varied divergent specifications in terms of ethnicity, geography, religion, language, aspiration, economic opportunity etc that are clamouring for equity, fairness and justice. 

They want restructured settings that will guarantee peaceful coexistence. 

They want a redefined and well established security apparatuses that will guarantee their safety and comfort. 

These structures should be addressed to allow developments and happy sociocultural relationship. 

The people should have access to enjoy life of comfort and desire in line with their placements and divine blessings and lucks. 

The blessings built by God for all at their various geographical placements should be allowed for the blessed ones. 

Every segment of the country must be allowed to aspire and develop at its own pace without the policy that keep some stagnant for others to meet up. 

The policy that keeps some undeveloped for the sake of unskilled labours should be abrogated especially as it is in the northern part of the Country!

When these and other needful are done, we'll agree that the current action of Mr President is not for the purpose of elections that come up very soon. 

But when you do things sarcastically in the guise of the intention to mock and deceive the people, no one, except the gullible ones, will accept your deception and baits!
