Prayer Points on Today's Open Heavens Daily Devotional: (Saturday, August 12, 2017) - TRICKS OF THE DEVIL 2

1.Thank you, Father, for revealing your truth to me and for setting me free from the shackles of ignorance.
2.Father, in anyway, l have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus' name.
3.I reject every offer from the kingdom of darkness, that is targeted to destroy my testimonies, in Jesus' name.
4.Father, give me the grace and the power to resist Satan, that he may flee from me, in Jesus' name.
5.Father, empower me by your grace to overcome every temptation and trap, that the devil may set for me, in Jesus' name.
6.Father, destroy in my life, every spirit of greed and covetousness, that makes a man to fall for the bait of the devil, in Jesus' name.
7.I refuse to compromise my faith on the altar of temporary pleasures and filthy lucre of this world, in Jesus' name.
8.Father, let me never fall prey or be a victim of deceit and traps of the Fowler, in Jesus' name
9.I reject every demonic and evil proposal from the pit of hell, deceptively packaged to cut short my life, in Jesus' name.
10.Father, please keep me from ever falling for the tricks of the devil or becoming a victim of fraudsters.
11.Holy Spirit of God, l commit my life into your hands, please guide and lead me along the path of your righteousness and divine prosperity, in Jesus' name.
12.Your Personal petitions.

Ask an average Nigerian what he or she feels about CCC members and you would not be taken aback at the negative feedback you would get from them.  A blogger once asked a question “Why do most Nigerian guys avoid dating or marrying ladies from white garment churches especially from CCC?”, as expected the response was filled with shades, banters and tantrums, such that I began to literally shed tears when I was reading through them, and it is so pathetic that our administrators are probably less concerned about the image of this church. Fellow members, our image is bad, I mean very bad in the light of the way other Christians, Muslims and non-believers see us and we seem not to be bothered about it.   In an interview with Nigeria Tribune, Reverend Gabriel Beni Omoge, who is one of the factional leader of the Church has revealed why he was ordained as one of the head of all Pastors of the Church despite not being close to the late Pastor and Supreme Head, Reverend Maforikan. While speaking with the Newspaper, Omoge likened how he found his way into Celestial Church like that of a spectator, saying he visited the Church for the first time in 1977 on the invitation of his elder brother. "My elder brother invited me to CCC Ikeja Parish 2, Lagos in 1977 putting on white robes without shoes, not knowing what God had in stock for me" he narrated.  At the parish, he was prophesied to, that he has been ordained a prophet of God, but he never believed not until in 1978, when he began to prophesy during a revival service in Ondo State.
