SEA INVASION: Akeredolu Sends Delegation To Ilaje Nation

Ondo State Governor, Akeredolu Oluwarotimi, SAN on Monday 16 July sent a delegation to Ilaje Nation, at Ayetoro, to inspect the natural occurrence that the sea invasion has caused the people.

The incident was reported by the “Ilaje Advancement Forum", through a press release, made public via social and print media.

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwaritimi Akeredolu, SAN on Monday, 16th July sent a delegation led by the Deputy Governor, Alfred Agboola Ajayi and the Secretary to the State Government, Honourable Ifedayo Abegunde to Ayetoro community in Ilaje Local Government Area of the State to assess the level of damage done by the sea incursion which has been ravaging the community.

The Deputy Governor on behalf of the State Government empathised with the people promising to do whatever within the state's power to draw Federal Government's attention  to the plight of the people in a view to providing a lasting solution the  perennial problem.

Meanwhile, arrangements are being made by the State Government to provide relief materials to the affected people to alleviate their condition.

Noted: 
Ilaje Local Goverment Area, is an Oil producing area, South South Senatorial district of Ondo State.

For a decade now, the Government of Ondo State, and the Federal government have denied the Ilaje's people their opportunities as an Oil producing area, and the south south senatorial district of quality materials, and the area has been in total darkness for a decade now, there is no any road will can point on, no water, no infrastructure, no school, no hospital, and the oil has destroyed their source of income.  “It will be completed in the nest article ".
