Oladele Ogundipe, If truly he his a prophet as he claims and he respects the calling of SBJ Oshoffa—Alagba Michael Folorunsho

Halleluyah.

The parish of Oladele Ogundipe is not the first parish to bring secular artiste to the church to sing or perform. As far as a decade ago certain parishes have been inviting fuji musicians to come and perform in their parishes in the name of celebrating adult harvest.

I have heard of a parish around ketu axis that invite sandoka, a purpolar fuji musician every year to come and sing at their adult night which is the harvest eve.

What makes the case of Genesis peculiar is that he is first parish of celestial to bring musicians and even those dressed in mufti inside the church and give them microphone to sing and perform.  Now here is where we need to clear issues so we don't lump so many things up.

First and foremost every musicians or celebrity is a member of one religious body or another, be it christian, Muslim or traditional worshiper. In celestial we have musicians who are performers too, and according to Nigerian constitution every man has a freedom of association. So for a musician to go to a church either by invitation or by deciding to serve God where his heart chooses is not an offence.

Celestial church of Christ during our adult harvest celebration invites all men to come and rejoice with us, kings, politicians, lords and so and so forth are invited to come and bow before the king of kings and honor him with their substance, it is therefore not uncommon to have people come from different works of life to grace occasions in the church. What is paramount is that such invitees must respect the rules and regulations of the group that invited them. Acceptance of the invitation by the invitee means he or she agrees to abide by the rules and regulation of the body that invited them. So it is not awkward to find musicians or whoever coming into the church to worship.

What is awkward is the disrespect of the rules and regulations of the body the invitee came to, especially when it is we who invited them that is allowing them do it.

Let's look at a practical example: the whole world witnessed the wedding of the prince of England and his wife from America few weeks ago. The wedding was very historic that people from all work of life came to the palace to witness the wedding, what stood out was the way and manner everyone comported themselves around the church and during the programme. No one was dressed provocatively or was there an excessive show of affluence or influence. The British royal family have been known for their conversation and moderation and even though the prince (who would never be king)took a woman against the order set by his ancestors, the kingdom did not break it's orders.

This is the kingdom of man sticking with orders because it is not about one person but about the kingdom. How much more the kingdom of God and his Christ. In celestial church of Christ the director of music in the tabernacle or temple are the choir. They are the ones ordained to minister music into the church. The celestial hymn called celestial "ijo alaye" meaning church of the living. It means the work of the chorister is to minister life into the church. That is why the blue and yellow cape must always be on them during ministration and they must be in the choir barricade segregated for them. This is the heavenly order God gave to us so that we can function as a living church. On no account will a non levite be given a place in the tabernacle of Israel to minister to the people, Daniel and his other brethren revered the order of Isreal so much that they refused to sing the song of the Lord in a strange land when their captors mocked them to sing their song. The people we read about in the Bible are not people who changed the order of God to suite themselves but people who stood by every word of God and did not waver from it. Those who where punished and condemned are those who changed it to suite their own will.

Therefore the invitation of secular musicians and giving them microphone to sing (even if it is Christian or gospel music) is against the order that God set for Celestial Church of Christ. They can come as guest to receive and behold the glory of God not as ministers. If alagba oladele ogundipe cannot give any of his members microphone to speak to the congregation(just as he has selected ministers), it is wrong to allow just anyone speak or sing to the congregation because of sentiments and trying to gain approval. If just anybody cannot stand on the pulpit of his parish to talk then why would he allow just anyone to stand on a place that represents the sacred area of the church to speak for acceptance?

Anyone can invite who ever he will to his parish, or auditorium or hall, but it must be in the order of the church you are showing to represent. Our hymn says IJO MIMO NLA KAN NI, one indivisible celestial church, if brother oladele ogundipe is truly a celestial and a prophet he will understand these things, because you cannot use carnality to minister spirituality. You can never see Redeem Christian Church bring an circular musician to sing in any of their programmes and very many musicians attend their programmes, infact popular musicians like Tope Alabi or Yinka ayefele are not called to sing because it is not a show of entertainment, a programme organised by Paul adefarasin every year called EXPERIENCE has never called any secular musician to minister even though many of them attend. It is not discrimination or hate but the fact that spiritual is spiritual and carnal is carnal. The choir has been anointed only for the task of ministering into the soul through the power of the Holy Spirit and assigned holy angels.

If this pastors or churches understand this things, how much more we CELESTIALS who have been given the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Why would we be trampling on our heritage in the name of we can do what we like? How can we be doing what we like when we already have been set on the right path? How can we be doing what we like because we are seeking approval? The fact that a man is seeing visions or performing wonders does not mean he is doing God's will, an example are the people who reminded Jesus Christ of how much miracles and wonders they did in his name but he still rejected them.

If truly alagba oladele ogundipe and those towing the same path have the interest of celestial church of Christ at heart, if truly he his a prophet as he claims and he respects the calling of SBJ Oshoffa, he should stick with what Jesus Christ revealed to us and stop dragging the church into dissimulation of error. If not it is better they change the name of their establishment to something else apart from Celestial church of Christ. Let all those who are in the same error in whatever way or form who are working against celestial church  of Christ change the name of their establishment and let celestial church of Christ be occupied by only those who are ready to stand by the foundation of SAMUEL BILEWU OSHOFFA.
